THIS JUST POPPED UP ON THE UNSEEN.IS MAIN SCREEN

Maybe we will be getting access to our email and folders??????
 
UNSEEN NOTIFICATION MESSAGE
Unseen premium is no longer available. Unseen is moving to a peer to peer model shortly. More information will be available soon. Your Unseen premium account will still function, new premium account will no longer be available.

I looked at the main screen based on what you said and saw this.  I sent an email.  I also had to change my password in order to sign in to leave this message but it didn't change my sign in info for the "main account".  Weird....

WOW - I sent an email to adminreport@unseen.is as indicated in the message posted by Justin and all of a sudden my "non-working" unseen email address is working and I have received all the missing emails since 14 Nov.

Maybe worth trying for those of you in the same predicament?

Lets hope everyone sees this message from unseen. Seems they would have known this issue 2 weeks ago when my emails went down. Plus the  the support email I sent several times were returned undeliverable so that email apparently does not work..No other way to consct them at that time. I sent an email to them and hope they fix it. From now on I will be backing up my folders and any other info I need to save. .Would also be appropriate to give the customers an accurate email to report issues in the future. The old one does not work.and will this admin email still be viable in the future? Thought they left he planet and I lost all my work folders. Will see.

Based on Davie's response under mine, I tried to log back in to my email and I was able to get in.  Yay!

 

ETA:  It is only the email since the issue.  All history is gone, both in Inbox and Sent folders.

Have sent an email to adminreport@unseen.is with relevant details asking them to restore access to my email account. I will see what happens.

Also noted the message that they are moving to a peer to to peer system, whatever that means and though premium accounts will still work, they will no longer be available to purchase.

After 3 hours of notifying them still no email so happy others are getting results. Frustrating to say the least.. GRR

just seen the same thing, sent an email from my new email. donno if i'll ever use unseen again, Icloud has never shut down...

This just came in an email from unseen:

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. There has been catastrophic event of multiple disks failure which has caused the interruption in the email service. We are working on to retrieve the data but the process is very slow and challenging and we don’t have definite timeline yet for restoring the data. However, we are able to restore the email service for users without any old data.
 
We have restored the email service for the below user. Please check and let us know if you are able to access it. In case of access problem please reset your password on xxx@unseen.is for it to work again.

This is the email I received from the support team:

Hi Ian,

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. There has been a catastrophic event of multiple disks failure which has caused the interruption in the email service. We are working to retrieve the data but the process is very slow and challenging. Since we don't have a definite timeline for restoring the data, we would request you to get the email service restored without the old data.

As this was a secondary mailbox I have given them permission to restore the service without any history.

Those though who used Unseen as their main mailbox will have to wait until they can restore their mailboxes with their history which according to them may take sometime.
