HTTP ERROR 502

Problem accessing ZCS upstream server. Cannot connect to the ZCS upstream server. Connection is refused.
Possible reasons:

  • upstream server is unreachable
  • upstream server is currently being upgraded
  • upstream server is down

Please contact your ZCS administrator to fix the problem.

As of Nov 14, 2018, I've been getting the same Error MSG. No explanation.

I know people with unseen accounts that can login, but there is accounts that are not working.

Nov. 15, 2018

Past two days I've been getting this every time I log in unseen to check my webmail box.  Also I cannot receive incoming mail using pop mail.

I've submitted reports and get automated replies, but nothing seems to be done about it.

I am not tech savvy so this has been a very frustrating struggle for me ... just to find out how to make this report.

When will you do something about it?

I have a lifetime account with unseen - is this the end of the lifetime of "unseen"?

Unless someone can physically track down these operators and confront them over the issues we are all having, then we are simply talking to ourselves via their support system.

I can send emails via Outlook via unseen address but cannot receive and cannot access via web mail either.

Luckily for me the unseen address is a secondary one but as a lifetime member I would like to see their commitment to all of us honored.

I'm also having the same problem since September 2018.  I have another account in unseen.is that is working fine.  I don't understand the reason why it is happening to some accounts and not others.

I finally had a chance to write to adminteam@unseen.is and here is the very quick response that I received:

 

Dear Customer,

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

There has been catastrophic event of multiple disks failure which has caused the interruption in the email service. we would request you to get the email service restored without old data.

As we understand how important it is to restore your email services immediately. If you are using mail client for Unseen email  before we initiate the email services restoration, we request you to take a backup of your mail accounts in the mail client on your desktop(like Mozilla® Thunderbird, Mac mail, Microsoft outlook etc.,) by following the below steps.

Step 1:  Make a backup of all your Unseen emails and email folders - i.e. Move everything out of the IMAP/POP client account folder to a local folder (NOT associated with the Unseen account.

Step 2:  Delete your Unseen account from your IMAP/POP client.

Step 3:  Get your Unseen account renewed with a reply to this mail. The reset of your account will cause that any sub-folder you had from before the crash gets deleted.  They WILL NOT show up in any functioning way after the reset.

Reason to perform the backup is when your unseen account is been reset there is a high chance for all emails in (IMAP/POP) client to disappear. So having a backup is a precautionary measure to restore the mail client data when required.

Once you have performed the backup of your mail client, please inform us immediately. we will restore your unseen email services as soon as possible.

Note - If you were using Unseen webmail then above mentioned steps are not required.

As I am not using a mail client to access my Unseen mail, but am using Unseen Webmail, I requested that they restore my account.

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I can not access for my some webmail accounts for almost half year, and I can not access for all the other webmail accounts now. Anyone experiences the same situation? Thanks!

Please contact the support team through online contact form

I have encountered the issue of http error 502 since half year before, and got no reply from support.

Then I found out that the clients must contact them through online contact form at the page of submitting a request. The link is attached here.

After I have sent out my requests, I received their confirmation email. Then I got the admin team replied after one day and they helped me to restore the email accounts without data immediately .

Please kindly try to use this method to contact them. They are very helpful and supportive once they receive your email and requests ( they don't know which accounts have the problems ).

Hope this message helps everyone to get back your email account(s)!
